To legally live and work in the United Arab Emirates, you must obtain a valid residency and work permit. The process is completely sponsored by your employer. Once you sign the official offer letter approved by the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MOHRE), your employer will apply for your entry permit. After entering the country, you must undergo a mandatory medical fitness test (blood test and chest X-ray) and apply for an Emirates ID.
